Throughout my career, I have gained a unique combination of real-world experiences and have created imaginative worlds. From working as a firefighter, EMT, police detective, and police academy instructor to a corporate security professional, I have been involved in diverse situations. These experiences, with their challenges, emotions, and unique circumstances, have shaped my worldview and significantly influenced the development of the storylines in my books. Each experience has left a lasting imprint on my creative process, infusing authenticity and depth into my narratives.
My passion for action and mystery began at a young age, and I was drawn to characters from books like Encyclopedia Brown, The Hardy Boys, Ellery Queen, Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot, and protagonists from works by Clive Cussler, Christopher Greyson, and Michael Connelly. I strive to honor these influences in my writing.
